How to design pulsed power capacitors?
Basic design information:
1. Pulse capacitor energy unit KJ: energy Q= (1/2) CU2, energy density: Q/V
(V represents capacitor volume, tank volume)
2. Pulse capacitor allows maximum reverse voltage (5%~80%); Design according to clients’ needs.
3. Pulse capacitor rated working current (pulse current), KA;
4. Pulse capacitor equivalent series resistance requirements;
5. Impulse capacitor stray inductance requirements;
6. Pulse capacitor voltage: 1.05~2Un according to users’ needs;
7. Withstand voltage requirements between shell and terminals: no test for plastic shell
8. Pulse capacitor operating frequency?
9. Pulse capacitor life expentancy level;
