The Water cooled Capacitor designed for use in inductive heating & melting plants for power factor improvement. It usually works under high voltage, high current, a significant amount of heat will be generated during the operation, so water cooling system is necessary.
The cause of capacitor failure is complicated, for example, There are many harmonic sources present in the medium-frequency electric furnace grid. If the harmonics are excessively large at the location where parallel capacitors are installed, directly engaging parallel capacitors will often lead to even greater harmonics in the medium-frequency electric furnace grid, posing a significant threat to the safety of the parallel capacitors in the medium-frequency electric furnace.
