The induction heating equipment contains two parts: AC power supply that provides energy which is known as the frequency conversion power supply,and the other part is the induction coil and mechanical structure that complete the electromagnetic induction energy conversion, called the induction heating furnace as well. 

☞Variable frequency power supply can be classified into line frequency, medium frequency and high frequency.

2.Intermediate frequency heating equipment 
Through the adoption of low factor intermediate frequency generator and thyristor inverter, for converting line frequency 50hz into intermediate frequency (500~10000Hz), also called electrical energy device. 
3.Line frequency induction heating equipment 
The inductor frequency for power supply is same as power grid which is 50Hz. So it can obtain energy from power grid directly, the disadvantage is that the power factor is low. 
With the development of market demand, the development of induction heating devices shows that the power supply becomes higher frequency with the large capacity of power electronic power devices, the control simulation of electronic technology devices are tending to digitization, automatic control tending to intelligent development.

The medium frequency induction heating mainly apply for thyristors; IGBT is mainly used in super audio segment.
