Oil-immersed water-cooled high power capacitor, comprises a shell, capacitor cores group, insulation materials. The gap between the capacitor core group and the shell is equipped with cooling water tubes, and the cover plate assembly is equipped with a cooling water inlet and outlet interface connected with an external cooling water pipes. The two ports of the external cooling device are respectively communicated with the inlet and outlet interface on the cover plate assembly. When the capacitor is working, the heat generated by the capacitor is dissipated in the form of thermal radiation. When the external cooling water flows through the capacitor through the interface on the cover plate assembly, the heat generated inside the capacitor is taken away, which can reduce the internal temperature rise of the capacitor and provide the upper limit of the working environment temperature of the capacitor. The overcurrent capability of capacitors is enhanced, the service life of capacitors is extended, the volume of capacitors is reduced, and the manufacturing cost of capacitors is reduced.
