What factors would affect the induction heating capacitor performance?

With years of experience, we accumulated lots of projects that help us to solve your problem fast and efficiently. It is pleasure to share with some notes for capacitor in medium frequency induction furnace as below.

1. Cooling water system: When the use time of medium frequency induction furnace is long, it's possible to generate scale in cooling water tube or water input block . Once the cooling water in shortage, the capacitor may break down due to over heat. So It is import to pay close attention  to the cooling water flow rate. 

2. The voltage of induction heating furnace: If the furnace voltage exceed the capacitor withstand voltage, it may cause capacitor breakdown for over-voltage. 

3. The Insulation of capacitor cabinet: There are 2 solutions for insulation design: make the capacitor with insulation shell, or make capacitor cabinet with insulation design. The defective insulation will cause break down of capacitor shell.
